According to Global Green USA, green materials "save energy, conserve water, protect natural resources, contribute to a healthy indoor environment, and reduce the impact on the community."
The term green is one that encompasses a larger ideal, and can sometimes be applied too loosely. However, there are testing procedures and statistical requirements that are utilized to determine if a material is truly better for the environment.
The main two elements that go into analyzing green materials are:
A. What they are made from.
B. The process in which they are made.
Each type of material has its own requirements, and more information about the green materials we offer can be found here.
