Use a water-based cleaning agent, such as a mild detergent or nonsolvent upholstery shampoo product. Distilled water and mild soap will also work.

Cleaning Code S

Mild, water-free solvent or dry-cleaning product. Carefully follow instructions on such products. Avoid any product that contains carbon tetrachloride, which is highly toxic.

Cleaning Code WS

Can use water based or non-water based cleaning solvents. For water based stains, use water based cleaning agents. For oil based stains, use solvent cleaner. Follow instructions carefully and clean only in a well-ventilated room. Avoid any product that contains highly toxic carbon tetrachloride.

Cleaning Code X

Clean this fabric only by vacuuming or light brushing to prevent accumulation of dust or grime. Water-based foam or solvent-based cleaning agents of any kind may cause excessive shrinking, fading or possible pile distortion.

Leather

Leather requires special attention in the form of care products to maintain optimal look and feel. We recommend using Leather Techs for damage prevention as well as cleaning needs. You should treat your leather piece as soon as you get it, and always check to make sure the product you use works for your type of leather.
